Network Marketing

Network Marketing may be right for YOU!Did you know that you are already a network marketer? And you are probably very good at it. Whether you are catching up with an old friend, talking with a co-worker or running into a neighbor on your nightly dog walk, you are probably doing some network marketing.

“I go to this hair salon, they are the best in town.”

“I drive this car because I love the way it handles and it gets good gas mileage.”

“I started eating only fresh organic produce from this one store, and I feel so much better.”

“I took an online course on networking, it made a huge difference in my business.”

Network marketing is sharing information, helping people make better decisions, and leading them to an improved quality of life. The only difference between the above statement and network marketing is that you didn’t get paid for making all those referrals.

You could have been paid. Network marketers represent a wide variety of companies offering almost every product in the world. A network marketer looks just like the person you look at in the mirror every day. They are people in their own businesses who want to provide great products to consumers. They may want to add a little extra income on the side or they may want to go into the business full-time.

It is a natural step that if you are great at networking, you may enjoy network marketing. Network marketing is one of the few areas of business which allow you to dip your toes into running your own business, but without the huge start-up expenses of a traditional business. Network marketing companies provide training and support to help get your business up and operating. The only limits are imposed by your own beliefs and work ethics.

If you do decide to investigate network marketing, there are a number of great references you should read before choosing a company. I’ve got them listed in the Resources section and you can either purchase them online, find them at your favorite bookstore or check them out at your library. But the point is to do your homework BEFORE making a decision. Joining a network marketing company IS running a business. It is NOT sitting back and letting the money roll in. Effort is required to be successful.

That effort begins with choosing the right company that fits you. Like any other big company, each network marketing company has it’s own corporate culture. You should choose one where you like and believe in the products, and where you feel comfortable interacting with the other members of your potential team.
